Antwort Is Sauron and Saruman the same person? Weitere Antworten – Is Saruman actually Sauron
Marjorie Burns writes that while Saruman is an "imitative and lesser" double of Sauron, reinforcing the Dark Lord's character type, he is also a contrasting double of Gandalf, who becomes Saruman as he "should have been", after Saruman fails in his original purpose. He was originally the Istari's chief, and was head of the White Council that for a time opposed the Dark Lord. But by the late Third Age, Saruman was overcome by lust for power and swore fealty to Sauron, becoming one of his greatest servants. It's my feeling that Saruman, after communing with Sauron via the Stone of Orthanc, simply loses touch with reality and becomes quite mad as well as evil. And his turn to evil is a device of Sauron's, not his own personal choice, although he was always proud and thus perhaps more susceptible to corruption.
Are Sauron and Saruman both Maiar : In contrast to each of the aforementioned characters, who are all pure maiar that use their power for good (except Saruman in later years, because he is twisted and corrupted by the promise of power) Sauron is an evil character, and used his substantial powers to dupe and deceive those around him.
Is Saruman more evil than Sauron
Sauron was the great evil, Saruman is petty evil. What's more humiliating for Saruman, is that he was now beneath the notice of Gandalf. Gandalf parted with his Hobbit friends before they entered The Shire, instead going to the Old Forest to treat with Tom Bombadil.
Why is Saruman so similar to Sauron : Saruman was originally a Maia of Aulë the Smith – just as Sauron had once been – named Curumo, meaning "skillful one", or Curunír by the elves in Sindarin.
His two most salient powers were his knowledge and his voice. Saruman was, in a very real way, the junior brother of Sauron both having been Maia of Aulë, Valar of Smithcraft, in the very beginnings of time.
Sauron, in origin a Maia of Aulë like Saruman, awed and frightened him. During the height of his arrogance, Saruman thought he could contend with Sauron, but in the end he found himself meddling with a spirit of far greater power and knowledge than himself.
What made Sauron evil
Sauron's evil grew from his original servitude to Morgoth, the world's first Dark Lord, into his own obsession for "mastering" all things in Middle-earth through wicked means. After Morgoth's fall, Sauron was fully autonomous and committed, for two Ages, to gaining tyrannical control over Middle-earth.Furthermore, Saruman is known to bend nearly any mind to his will through the use of his words. He could have been a truly great wizard who fought against the dark forces. Unfortunately, he was not powerful enough to resist Sauron's temptations.Morgoth, the first to reign terror upon Middle-earth, was more powerful than Sauron and commanded an army of dragons and Balrogs. While both Morgoth and Sauron were cunning, Morgoth's rule and terror lasted longer and his corruption spread further, making him more formidable in the Lord of the Rings universe.
First you have to decide what you mean by “power”. If power includes influence, then Gandalf the White was the most powerful (know power) in Arda, precisely because he is the prime mover in the destruction of Sauron as the Dark Lord. This assumes Gandalf the White was not more powerful than Sauron.
Why did Sauron fear Aragorn : Sauron's deepest fear was that Aragorn would use the Ring against him.
Why did Sauron hate Aragorn : Bloodlines are very important in Tolkien's stories, and it makes a lot of sense that Sauron would fear the great-grandson of the man who cut off his hand. Aragorn carried the blood of Numenor with him. His genetic connection to the heroes of the Second Age established him as a dangerous opponent of Sauron.
Who killed Morgoth
He will fight in the Last Battle against the Valar and their allies, but will ultimately be slain by Túrin Turambar, the Man he cursed. By finally defeating Morgoth, Túrin will avenge not only himself, but all members of the race of Men.
Isildur used a broken sword to cut the Ruling Ring off Sauron's hand. Sauron was fatally wounded by Gil-galad and Elendil as Sauron killed them. Gandalf took the job of blocking the Balrog – and he was barely able to defeat the Balrog (in fact, he died in the process).Morgoth, the first to reign terror upon Middle-earth, was more powerful than Sauron and commanded an army of dragons and Balrogs. While both Morgoth and Sauron were cunning, Morgoth's rule and terror lasted longer and his corruption spread further, making him more formidable in the Lord of the Rings universe.
Who is higher than Sauron : Morgoth Was Originally More Powerful Than Sauron
When he couldn't accomplish that, he began to war against the other Valar and rule over Middle-earth with his fires and evil creations. With this turn to darkness, Melkor became known as Morgoth. While at war, Morgoth lured many beings to his cause.
