I thought it was great. I did both the 86th floor and the 102nd and I felt it was worth the extra money. The floor to ceiling windows allow you to see and take photos unobstructed by any aspect of the building itself which is great for panoramic shots. The museum is also pretty cool and informative. If you want the most iconic picture of New York's skyline, go to Top of the Rock because then your pictures will have the Empire State Building in them. But if you're more keen to tick the Empire State off your bucket list, you can capture stunning views featuring the water and Rockefeller Plaza instead. Is there a time limit There are no time limits or specified visiting windows. Allow at least one hour for your visit, slightly more if you will be visiting both the main deck and the top deck.

Which is better, Empire State Building or One World Observatory : One World Observatory is much newer but has a history of its own because of its ties to the terror attacks of 9/11.
