Antwort Do you have to be a Harry Potter fan to play Hogwarts? Weitere Antworten – Will I like Hogwarts Legacy if I’m not a Harry Potter fan
The game definitely has its flaws, but its enjoyability does not depend on being a Potter fan. It's clearly a game that was targeted at a mainstream audience. With such an audience in mind, it makes sense to keep the gameplay casual and to not assume detailed lore knowledge among the players. As with anything set in a world with source material, it's certainly helpful if you've seen all the movies before jumping in — even if it's just to learn the terminology. However, most fans will find that a complete refresher on the Harry Potter movies is optional to enjoy the game.Admission. According to the novels, admission to Hogwarts is selective, in that children who show magical ability will automatically gain a place, and squibs cannot attend the school as students (though they can work there in other roles, as Argus Filch does).
How to get accepted into Hogwarts : The answer might surprise you… There is only one way that a student is selected to go to Hogwarts, and that choice isn't made by a person. In fact, it is made by a book and quill. In a tower at Hogwarts, where no student goes, sits the Book of Admittance and Quill of Acceptance.

You don't need to, but it might give you a bit of context clues on when or how certain spells were used in the books/movies. I'd actually recommend reading the books over watching the movies (the books are a lot more in depth) but the movies are fairly decent in my opinion. YES.
The game is brilliant and you can absolutely enjoy it without having any previous love or knowledge of the Harry Potter world. However, you could just wait it out and grab it on sale in a few months.
Does Hogwarts accept foreigners
Castelobruxo, Ilvermorny and Uagadou accepted students from all over their respective continents, whereas Hogwarts only accepted students from the United Kingdom and Ireland. The school with the smallest number of students was Mahoutokoro, and the school with the most students was Uagadou."We made a conscious decision not to [have romance]… There is no way to do it well, after all you are the protagonist in the game and you can be anyone. We want you to be able to be whoever you want… That would be too difficult to manage [with romance]."It doesn't lean on the Harry Potter story it just uses familiar locations and some things mentioned in the story. Its a really well crafted game so even without any knowledge I don't see why you shouldn't play it.
It's a very well-made game with a lot to discover and lots of fun to be had. The combat is super fun, too. The fact that this takes place in the same universe as Harry Potter is just icing on the cake if you're a HP fan, but being a fan is not a pre-requisite to enjoying the game.

Morality explained. While you can make certain choices and use spells that may be considered morally questionable, you cannot canonically be evil in Hogwarts Legacy. Essentially, there's no version of the story where you'll be recognised as inherently evil and rise up as a proto-Voldemort.You don't need to, but it might give you a bit of context clues on when or how certain spells were used in the books/movies. I'd actually recommend reading the books over watching the movies (the books are a lot more in depth) but the movies are fairly decent in my opinion.
Why I don t like Hogwarts Legacy : The story is rooted in anti-Semitic tropes. The gameplay feels dated. The graphics feel like they're a couple generations behind. All the characters are one-dimensional.
